the restaurant offered nice views of the green area near the brook. the breakfast had lots of variety in fruit, breads, and juice. staff were LOVELY and very friendly.

i stayed for a few nights and found the bed to be supremely comfortable. the breakfast buffet offered a great variety. the hotel grounds are extensive and very well-kept, a really beautiful place for a stroll.

the parking fee felt a bit high at the end of my stay.

The staff were lovely and helpful. I made good use of the spa. nice walks were nearby as well. the food was excellent.

It was an unexpected fee. i thought having many signs on the hotel tables was not great, i wanted to relax and switch off. the riverside room was dated. I thought it was disappointing for the extra cost.

the staff was friendly at the bar. i had an open steak sandwich there. the manager was informed about the hotel's history.

the breakfast was average though pricey at 20.95. the restaurant menu was the same as the bar menu.

the breakfast really wasnt good. i mean, the beans and hash browns tasted of nothing. also, there was a wedding going on. the noise during dinner made it hard to enjoy my meal as i found the ambiance unpleasant. the spa, very small, needs tlc in my view.

the hotel offered ample common areas and gardens perfect for relaxation. i found fresh food options readily available during breakfast a nice touch. the grounds were well kept and i appreciated the buildings maintaining a lovely aesthetic. i enjoyed the walk along the river.

i found it slightly disappointing that parking incurred an extra charge.
